Task:
The first year students will explore the internet,
particularly our school website,
and use a search engine,
to gain information about Scoil Eoin.
During this exercise the students will:
Find out who founded our school.
Learn of famous people connected to the school and its founder.
Locate famous buildings nearby.
Hear of the Penal Laws which existed when the school started.
Read of other things which happened around the world in1777
Read old school roll-books as a primary source of information.
(e.g. the occupations of the students' fathers a hundred years ago)
